From the YouTube page’s description:

IDEO CEO Tim Brown says that communications technology is leading us back to the kind of participation economy that existed before the industrial revolution such that a great product or service is no longer defined as something where the customer doesn’t have to do anything. A good service will be defined as one that draws customers in as participants.

What if we could put a value on all the music that’s stolen every year by copywrite pirates? Wouldn’t the value be really, really high? Gee, I guess you’re right – thanks for the valuable economic insight, Mr. Designer CEO.

Let’s shift things around, though, and see how you would like all your designs at IDEO to be stolen with $0.00 compensation. Wouldn’t that be really, really cool and new and current and different and with it? It’s all about ideas and this one’s mine. Guess I better go on YouTube and pontificate.

What a genuis. What useless drivel. Please shut up.
