Interesting video from the Environmental Defense Fund on their progress and achievements for 2009. Very well executed and informative for 5 minutes. However, you might notice that the speaker’s head and sometimes those in pictures shown are a bit narrow. For one, the aspect ratio of the video isn’t 4:3 nor 16:9. This isn’t necessarily bad, but it’s generally a good idea to stick with conventions. Secondly, the various media within the video likely had differing dimensions when compiled. Your best bet in putting a video together is to first define which aspect ratio you’d like to use, then cut or resize the various media therein to fit that ratio.
